I have went through so many different types of hair transformation, from the long purple hair- pink hair- green hair?!- short blonde and then now short black hair. I just can't stop trying out new colors, I am not sure about you guys but I always went through this period of time which I get bored of my own hair (literally every 3 months).
I hope I can stick to my short black hair for now, it's a terrifying choice to get my long hair snapped off- I was super worried that I'd look hella weird/ ugly/ whether my face shape suit the hair cut but in the end I just went for it! Life is too short to waste on choosing the same thing everyday, if you are thinking whether to give your hair a huge transformation then you should totally give it a go~!
I am always in a panicking mode especially when I am in a salon before making a huge decision about my hair, I was such a baby during the day I cut my hair short but luckily the hairstylist was super kind and comforting which help me keep my cool! The downside to my current hair color now is that it is turning brown/ blonde after every wash... which is frustrating due to the hair bleach from the previous blonde hair.
So what do you guys think about my hair? Should I continue keeping it short or grow my hair out ? (: For more photos, check out my Instagram- Birdie Liau , do leave your IG name down below so I can follow you and check out your IG as well! x
Boundaries can be such a scary invisible force, setting up boundaries for myself and creating this invisible line of what I should and shouldn't do can be limiting. I am so glad that I discovered this bad cycle of sticking to safer route and not trying out new things before it gets too bad, so for the past few months I am trying to push my own boundary to try out tons of new stuffs every week and do stuffs that I won't normally do or even those that scare me! At first, it can be super nerve-wrecking but after completing those stuffs - it become a sense of relief and added confidence, this is definitely a wake-up call to be more daring and adventurous!
Anyway, I have been trying to buy new interesting clothes as well to spice up my wardrobe and have more varieties of different style to pick from depending on my mood of the day. It's fun to experiment with clothing, hairstyles or even doing something different daily. It can be seen as small changes but small changes can adds up to something big and can make a huge positive change in life.
Thank you for reading! Here's a video that I just uploaded on YouTube:

Spring has been an amazing month for me! Can't believe I graduated from University on May, university was amazing while it lasted and I absolutely can't wait for the official graduation ceremony set to happen around November! So currently, I am taking a break trying to discover myself if it makes any sense and maybe travel around the world to discover places I have yet to visit. It's just so exciting, like the beginning of something new. Side Note: I am going to turn 21 this year, so this is another exciting thing for me to look forward to and it's going to happen in November as well.
Finishing university doesn't really feels much of a difference except having more free time, no more studying schedules, no more exams or assignments. It just literally feels like I am having a long break. Hope that I can get to spent this time wisely instead of wasting it away! I should probably get back to updating this space often as well, to keep it alive. That's that for today~ have a lovely day ahead of you x !

Ever since I am back from my Bangkok trip, I have been craving for some delicious Thailand food until it's finally satisfied over at Talay Kata's x Som Tam's event. Their Mookata Buffet is really the best, I have review it previously on my blog but this time round- Talay Kata have launched the two new buffet concept that's literally the best. I get to try their cooked food buffet as well as steamboat buffet there.
Firstly, it's the steamboat offering with Red Tom Yum Soup Base- this definitely satisfied me because I always have a hard-time choosing what I want to eat, so this is literally like best of both world. The Tom Yum Soup really matches so well with the type that I had over in Thailand, super love. I put some scallop, squid, golden mushroom and some white cabbage and the flavouring was just super yum.
I also tried out their colourful sticky rice dessert and I absolutely love it, even though it doesn't come with mango but it comes in different sides to match the sticky rice and I just love the colourful sticky rice because it's so pretty.
While the BBQ and Steamboat can take quite some time to prepare, Talay Kata solve this problem for you by upgrading it along with a wide range of Thailand-theme cooked dishes (changes on daily basis) - Shark Fin Soup, Braised Chicken, Fried Salted Egg Sotong, Fried Thai Basil Fish, Gai Satay (Super yummylicious), Grilled Chicken, Stir Fried Veggie W Sambal Sauce, Drunken Prawn And Kang Kung Belachan which satisfied people like me that wanna eat something small while waiting for the BBQ food to be ready!
The cooked food buffet comes up with a steamboat top-up option to complete the meal which is super affordable~ it'll be officially launched on the 21st of April, so do mark your calendar to try out their newly launched cook-buffet over at :
